Kappa Phi 2007-2008 Criteria
• You must have 32+ units here at CSUSB at the end of fall quarter
• You must obtain junior status before Winter census date
• GPA is based on cumulative not CSUSB only
• The top 7.5% of Juniors are selected
• The top 10% of Seniors/graduate students are selected
How does one know if he/she has met the gpa criteria
1. In spring (mid march)students who have met the gpa criteria receive
a Phi Kappa Phi initiation invitation.
2. If you feel you have met the above criteria and did not get invited to Phi Kappa Phi please bring documentation to Deborah Buck in the Administration Building (AD-101) showing you have 32+ units here at CSUSB, junior or above status before winter census date, and meet the gpa criteria.
How is the gpa’s criteria determined
Each spring our Phi Kappa Phi department receives a list from our Institutional
Research Department. The list provides the names of students who have
a cumulative gpa within the top 7.5% of the junior status and 10% of the
senior / graduate status. Grades are determined by the PRIOR FALL QUARTER
gpa.
The
criteria to join Phi Kappa Phi for 2008 is as follows
Top 7.5% gpa for junior is = 3.60
Top 10% gpa for Senior is = 3.56
