Phi Kappa Phi
The California State University, San Bernardino Chapter of Phi Kappa Phi was installed in 1979 to recognize students and faculty who have achieved a high level of academic competence and to promote excellence in the academic community. Admission to the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi is by invitation only and requires nomination and approval by the chapter in accordance with the bylaws of both the chapter and the national organization. Both require superior scholarship and good character as criteria for membership.
Students who accept the invitation to join and have completed their registration by May 3, 2009 will have their names noted as members of PKP in the Commencement Program in June. After that date, students may still join, however their name will not appear in the commencement program (last date to join with your 2009 invitation is September 1, 2009)
Students who will be participating in the June commencement and joined Phi Kappa Phi in a previous year, please email Deborah Buck, dbuck@csusb.edu during the month of April to ensure your name be noted in the commencement program as a member of PKP.
